Accessibility Statement
Forefront Experiences Inc., incorporated in Delaware.
Forefront is committed to making both our Website and our in-person Program accessible to students and families of varying abilities. This Statement explains our approach to digital accessibility and to accessibility within the in-person Program, and how to reach us with questions or accommodation requests.
Because Forefront is not only a website but an in-person, residential experience held at university and other partner facilities in New York City, this Statement covers both dimensions rather than digital accessibility alone.
- 1. Website Accessibility
- 2. Program and Venue Accessibility
- 3. How We Handle Accommodation Requests
- 4. Feedback and Contact
1. Website Accessibility
We aim for our Website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard most widely used to evaluate web accessibility. Our efforts include:
- providing text alternatives for meaningful images;
- ensuring pages can be navigated using a keyboard alone;
- maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and background;
- using a clear heading structure and labels compatible with screen readers.
Digital accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time fix, and we continue to test and improve the Website over time. We do not claim the Website is fully conformant at all times; if you encounter a barrier, please tell us using the contact details in Section 4 and we will work to address it.
2. Program and Venue Accessibility
A Forefront Program is delivered in person, including at partner university facilities and, for the residential option, at third-party accommodation — the “Venue” and “Accommodation” described in our Program Terms and Conditions (Section 11). Forefront does not own or operate these facilities, and their physical accessibility varies by location and by Program year.
We evaluate accessibility needs individually rather than assuming any single Venue can accommodate every need. We encourage families to raise any mobility, sensory, medical, dietary, or other accessibility consideration as early as possible — ideally before registering — so we can discuss with you what is realistically achievable at the specific Venue and Accommodation confirmed for that Program year.
3. How We Handle Accommodation Requests
Accessibility and accommodation needs are collected as part of the Health & Consent Form described in our Program Terms and Conditions (Section 6), and we ask that they be provided prior to the Program Start Date so we have time to assess them and, where possible, arrange support.
We will work in good faith with a family to understand what is needed and what is feasible given the Venue, Accommodation, and third-party partners involved in a given Program. Because the Venue and Accommodation are third-party facilities rather than ones Forefront builds or controls, we cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated at every location — and where we believe a particular Venue cannot meet a Student's needs, we will tell the family as early as possible, rather than at check-in.
4. Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on both the Website and the in-person Program experience. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or want to discuss a potential accommodation before registering, contact us at hello@forefronteducation.com.
