Safeguarding

Safeguarding & Pastoral Care.

At Forefront, the safety and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority.

Our commitment.

Ahead of each program, Forefront staff are trained under a formal policy covering codes of conduct, reporting procedures, and incident response. The standards of the American Camp Association inform our policies, procedures, and practices.

Rigorous staff standards.

Every member of the Forefront team — program staff, residential supervisors, and mentors alike — undergoes comprehensive background screening before joining us, and all adults connected to the program are clearly identifiable to students and parents at all times.

Appropriate supervision, day and night.

Forefront maintains a defined staff-to-student supervision structure across all program activities, meals, and residential hours, with staff on-site and on-call twenty-four hours a day.

Health and medical care.

Forefront maintains clear medical protocols, including on-call medical support and established procedures for allergies, illness, and emergencies, so that appropriate care is always close at hand.

Know before they go.

Every family completes a comprehensive Health & Consent Form before the program begins, covering medical history, allergies, medications, and emergency contacts. This gives our team everything they need to look after your child from day one.

Partnership with parents.

We keep parents and guardians informed before and throughout the program, and we’re always reachable if a question or concern arises.

Regulatory compliance.

Forefront is committed to full compliance with all applicable US federal, state, and local regulations governing youth residential and educational programs.
