Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Forefront Experiences Inc ("Forefront," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information collected through our website and in connection with enrollment in a Program, as defined in our Program Terms and Conditions of Enrollment. That document governs your enrollment; this one governs your data.
Where this Policy refers to information "you" provide, that includes information a parent, legal guardian or Educational Consultant (as defined in our Program Terms and Conditions of Enrollment) provides about a Student, as well as information the Student provides directly once enrolled.

See Section 4. |

2. Sensitive Personal Information
Program enrollment requires disclosure of health and medical information under Section 6 of the Program Terms and Conditions — conditions, allergies, medications, and, where relevant, prior counseling or behavioral support. We treat this as sensitive personal information and handle it differently from the categories in Section 1.
Specifically: this information is used only to arrange reasonable accommodations, respond to medical situations during a Program, and meet health and safety obligations that apply to Forefront's residential operations (including, where applicable, requirements under NYC Health Code Article 48). It is not used to build advertising profiles, and it is never sold or shared with advertisers. Within Forefront, only staff and the specific medical, accommodation, or venue partners who need it for these purposes have access to it.
You have a right to ask us to limit our use of this information to these purposes — see Section 7. In practice, this is already the only way we use it.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (including advertising pixels) for three purposes: (1) strictly necessary cookies for basic site functionality; (2) analytics and personalization cookies, to understand how visitors find and use the site and to remember your preferences; and (3) advertising pixels from third parties such as Meta and Google, which we use to run and measure our own marketing campaigns, including retargeting. Categories (1) and (2) do not require your consent under US law, and we use them without asking first. Category (3) involves sharing browser and device information with these advertising partners; several state privacy laws (including California's) treat this as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising even though no money changes hands. Where that applies to you, you have a right to opt out — see Section 7.5 — and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar browser-level opt-out signals as a valid opt-out request.
You can also manage or block cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect parts of the site's functionality.
4. Who We Share Information With
Forefront does not sell personal information for money, and we do not share sensitive personal information (Section 2) with advertisers under any circumstances. As described below, we do share certain browsing and device data with advertising partners to support our own marketing campaigns; some state privacy laws classify this as "sharing" even though it isn't a sale. We disclose personal information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Program vendors — Accommodation, catering, venue, and transport providers receive only the information they need to deliver the specific service they're providing.
- Payment processing — our payment processor handles transactions directly; we do not pass them information beyond what's needed to process a charge.
- Emergencies — medical providers, where necessary to respond to a Student's health or safety needs.
- Professional advisors — our own lawyers, accountants, and similar advisors, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal compliance — where disclosure is required by law, or necessary to protect the safety of a Student, Forefront staff, or others.
- Business transitions — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the acquiring party continuing to honor this Policy.
- Marketing and public use — where you've consented under the Photo, Video and Media Release (Program Terms and Conditions, Section 10), a Student's first name, general location, photographs, video footage, and testimonial statements may be published on Forefront's website, social media, and in other marketing materials. This is Forefront's own publication of the information, not a sale or a third-party disclosure for advertising purposes.
- Advertising partners — third parties such as Meta and Google receive browser/device identifiers and site-activity data via cookies or pixels, so we can run and measure our own advertising campaigns, including retargeting. We do not send these partners sensitive personal information (Section 2). This may be treated as "sharing" under certain state privacy laws even though we do not sell it for money — see Section 7.5 for your opt-out rights.
5. How Long We Keep Information
We don't keep personal information indefinitely. Enrollment and Program records are generally retained for the period necessary to administer the Program, respond to any post-Program follow-up (such as a Forefront Report request), and satisfy recordkeeping obligations tied to insurance, tax, and safeguarding requirements — typically several years past the Program End Date rather than indefinitely. Once none of these purposes apply, we securely delete or anonymize the information.
Two exceptions to the general timeline above: (1) where a Program is cancelled for a Force Majeure Event and you hold an unredeemed credit toward a future Program (Program Terms and Conditions, Section 4.8), we retain the enrollment, billing, and contact information needed to honor that credit for as long as it remains outstanding, plus our standard post-redemption recordkeeping period; and (2) photographs, video footage, and testimonial content used under the Photo, Video and Media Release (Program Terms and Conditions, Section 10) may continue to be retained and used in previously published or archived marketing materials after the Program has ended, consistent with that release, unless you ask us to remove them under Section 7.
6. How We Protect Information
We use a combination of technical measures (such as encryption and access controls), organizational measures (such as limiting staff access to sensitive information on a need-to-know basis), and vendor due diligence to guard against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee that information transmitted to us online will never be intercepted or accessed without authorization — but we treat this as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time setup.
7. Your Rights Under State Privacy Laws
A number of U.S. states now give residents specific rights over their personal information. Which of the following apply to you depends on your state of residence:
7.1 Know what we have. Ask us what categories of personal information we've collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we've shared it with.
7.2 Correct it. Ask us to fix personal information we hold about you that's inaccurate.
7.3 Delete it. Ask us to delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to exceptions — for example, where the law requires us to keep it, where deletion isn't practical while a Student is actively enrolled in an upcoming or ongoing Program, or while you hold an unredeemed credit toward a future Program.
7.4 Limit use of sensitive information. As described in Section 2, direct us to restrict use of sensitive personal information to what's necessary for the Program.
7.5 Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. We do share certain browsing and device data with advertising partners (Section 4) to support our own marketing campaigns, which is treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. You can opt out using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or by sending a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, which we honor automatically.
7.6 Exercise these rights without penalty. We won't charge you a different price or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of the above.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We'll need to verify who you are (or your authority to act for a Student) before acting on the request, which may mean asking you for additional information.
8. Information From Outside the United States
Forefront operates in the United States, and any personal information you provide to us — regardless of where you're located when you provide it — will be stored and processed here, under U.S. law. If you're located outside the United States, providing us with your information means you're comfortable with that transfer.
9. A Note on Minors and This Policy
Our website is built for parents, guardians, Educational Consultants and prospective Students within the age range published for each Program (see Section 2 of the Program Terms and Conditions) — it isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from a child under 13 without a parent or guardian's verifiable consent first, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you believe we've collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, contact us using the details in Section 12 and we'll look into it and delete it where appropriate.
10. Third-Party Platforms
If you engage with Forefront through a social media platform, that platform — not Forefront — controls how your information is collected and used there. We may see the public information you've chosen to share, but the platform's own privacy policy governs that relationship, not this one.
11. Updates to This Policy
We'll update the date at the top of this Policy whenever we make changes, and we'll notify you of material changes as required by law.
